Ivory Faire is a modern seafood and oyster bar. The client wanted menus that were inspired by Chicago’s Art Deco grandeur. With marble, brass, and geometric details, it offers premium oysters, caviar, and seasonal seafood alongside crafted cocktails, all set to live jazz, evoking a chic yet timeless dining experience.
For Ivory Faire I explored a range of Art Deco-inspired and luxurious feeling typefaces—some clean and modern, others elegant and script-based—to strike a balance between modern refinement and vintage charm. Muted hues of pink, blue, and green softened the identity, adding warmth and sophistication. Iterative logo studies and monograms helped define a visual tone that feels luxurious, slightly playful, and perfectly aligned with the restaurant’s chic, vintage and architictual ambiance.
